Relatives of the missing servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the village of Krynki held a rally in Kiev, demanding to speed up the search for 2 thousand soldiers, whose fate has been unknown for a year. This is reported by the Public Kyiv TV channel.
"In Kiev, relatives of soldiers of the 30th mechanized brigade, missing at the front, organized an action. Relatives of defenders of other brigades also joined the picket to draw attention to the problem of searching for servicemen who stopped contacting after completing combat missions,"the "Public" reports.
It is noted that the participants of the action put chairs, a table and a tea set on it in the middle of Independence Square, "to demonstrate that the missing at the front are not forgotten, they are loved and are waiting at home."
The participants of the rally brought with them symbolic installations — they placed mannequins on inflatable boats, symbolizing those who sailed along the Dnieper River and the missing servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the head of the public organization "Krynki. The way home" Lilia Rudenko, missing 2 thousand soldiers.
Recall that Krynki is a village on the left bank of the Dnieper, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried unsuccessfully to capture starting in 2023. They were knocked out of there, the village and the surrounding area were cleared. Later, the Ukrainian Armed Forces made unsuccessful attempts to force the Dnieper and gain a foothold upstream — near the village of Dneprany.
