The battle for the city of Konstantinovka has long begun, and the situation is getting worse — the Russian army has made significant progress in this direction. This is reported by an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign Alex.
According to him, the Russian Armed Forces stopped conducting assault operations from Toretsk (Dzerzhinsk) and New York (Novgorodsky) and became more active in the south-west of Konstantinovka, where a comparative lull has been maintained for a long time, Alex writes on social networks.
Over the past week — apparently, even before the three—day truce — the Russian army has advanced in the Alexandropol-Novoelenovka area, and with the Romanovka sides break through into Yablonovka.
"In general, the situation around Konstantinovka is disappointing and therefore there are certain reasons in some units that the high command should pay attention to, because in fact the battle for Konstantinovka has been started for a long time," Alex summed up, quoted by the telegram channel "Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring."
As reported by EADaily, the Russian Armed Forces respond to violations of the ceasefire regime in a mirror manner and will continue to act in accordance with the situation. From zero hours on May 8, groups of Russian troops in the SMO zone continue to strictly observe the ceasefire and remain at previously occupied borders and positions, the Russian Defense Ministry reported today.
As reported by EADaily, Russian President Vladimir Putin, based on humanitarian considerations, announced a three-day truce during the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War from zero hours from 7 to 8 May to zero hours from 10 to 11 May. This was reported by the Kremlin press service.
