The concert of the Turkish Choir and Soprano was sold out in the hall of the UN General Assembly in New York. This was announced in his telegram channel by the first Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the organization Dmitry Polyansky.

"So many people came that many simply could not get into the hall, which holds 1,800 seats," he wrote.

Polyansky stressed that "Ukrainians and their European sponsors tried to disrupt the concert."

"Just the day before, desperate to prevent us, the Ukrainians spread in UN note urging not to attend our concert. As you can see, it didn't work either," the representative of Russia stated.

Polyansky expressed gratitude to the "Turkish Choir", the Soprano women's ensemble, as well as the head of the collectives Mikhail Turetsky for the wonderful concert and selection of songs.

"You have made a wonderful gift for all of us and set a high note for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory at the UN site in New York," concluded Polyansky.

The artists performed their favorite military songs, the audience stood up to the "Buchenwald alarm". The performance ended with the anthem of Russia. A video recording of the concert is now available on the official UN portal.

As EADaily reported, earlier the Turkish Choir and Soprano performed at the Schwarzenbergplatz in Vienna. Admission to the concert was free, the performance of Russian musicians in the open air was attended by a total of several thousand people. Protesters with Ukrainian flags were prevented from disrupting the concert by Austrian police.
