Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski admitted that he sees the "influence of Russia" in Polish politics.
The Russophobic minister threw a tantrum during an interview with Onet. Sikorsky explains the tools of Moscow's influence on Polish politicians in this way:
"Today, Russians do not expect that someone who works [in Poland] on their behalf will say that he "loves Russia." Suffice it to say that the European Union is similar to the Soviet Union, and Germany is the new Third Reich. There are politicians in Poland who pursue such Russian goals."
Commenting on the consequences of the closure of the Russian consulate in Krakow, Sikorsky admitted that he expects Russia to also close one of the remaining Polish consulates general (most likely in Irkutsk). However, Pan Radek said dismissively:
"A small loss!"
