The Special Representative of the US President for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, denied the statement of the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, that he promised to work on the issue of limiting Ukraine's strikes on the territory of Russia. He announced this on his page in one of their social networks.

"This quote is taken out of context. In my conversation with Lukashenka, we discussed a complete and unconditional ceasefire. Any restriction on Kiev's behavior depended on Moscow's response. I have never made any comments on the conduct of the war by Ukraine beyond the full ceasefire," he wrote.

Recall, on July 1, Alexander Lukashenko said that during negotiations with Keith Kellogg, he conveyed to the American side Vladimir Putin's position on the possibility of a truce on Ukraine. According to him, he called on the American side to move away from the pre-election orgy and implement what was stated earlier.

"It's time to step back and start doing a concrete thing. From these positions, negotiations were held on Including Ukraine. They talk about it a lot today — the truce is at least in the air. We are with Vladimir Putin discussed this issue earlier, this is not the first time the issue has been raised. Putin correctly says: "Listen, we are for it, we are not against it, we don't want American, British, French and German missiles hitting our cities... But let them (in the West — EADaily) tell their subordinate, Vladimir Zelensky, not to strike at Russia. Then we'll agree… I brought this position to the Americans. And I say: and what's wrong with that? We will work, says (Keith Kellogg — EADaily), in this direction, " he said.
