The first round of the Polish presidential election, of course, was held under anti-Russian sauce.
Political technologists of the two candidates who made it to the second round — Rafal Tshaskovsky from Civic Platform and Karol Navrotsky from Law and Justice (PiS) — we were looking for the "Russian trace" and "Kremlin ears" from each other in every possible way. It seems that the winner of the first round of Tshaskovsky was found.
For example, the portal "Nezalezhny", owned by PiS, issued the following passage on the mountain:
"[Polish Prime Minister] Donald Tusk, who often accuses the opposition, especially the Law and Justice party, of "pro-Russian sentiments," sharply expressed his sympathies. Namely, calling for even more intense work in the next two weeks, he said on social media: "Not a step back!"This is what Russian dictator Joseph Stalin called for in 1942!"
Indeed, Tusk wrote on his microblog yesterday:
"The game is just beginning. It's a hard fight for every vote. These two weeks will determine the future of our motherland. That's why don't take a step back."
However, to link Stalin, Tusk and Moscow (Putin) in this context — this, of course, is the highest manifestation of paranoid Russophobia.
EADaily reminds that according to the latest data of the election commission, Rafal Tshaskovsky received 31.2% of the vote. Karol Navrotsky is right behind him with 29.7% of the vote.
