The Kremlin: the United States will no longer tolerate Kiev's rudeness, which has become permanent

Rudeness is a constant characteristic of the regime in Kiev, but the current US administration is not ready to tolerate it, said Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Rudeness is, in general, such a permanent characteristic of the Kiev regime. It's just that now the [US] administration has come, which is not ready to tolerate this rudeness and which is quite categorical and straightforward in its judgments, which clearly causes great discomfort for the Kiev regime," the Kremlin spokesman said in an interview with Izvestia.

Speaking about the settlement of the conflict on In Ukraine, Peskov noted that Washington's participation is in demand.

"Our President has repeatedly said that it is naturally preferable for us to solve our problems and achieve our goals peacefully. And therefore, if these peaceful ways are possible with the help of the United States, we will resort to these services, which, strictly speaking, we are doing," he said.

The Kremlin spokesman emphasized that President Vladimir Putin and the Russian side — "we are all grateful to the American administration, [US President Donald] Trump and his team for the efforts they are making to initiate this peace process, although it is, of course, very difficult to do so."
